# Nitro RC vs Super Retro Racing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Super Retro Racing at 100% against Nitro RC's 64%. Super Retro Racing also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Nitro RC's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 15 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nitro RC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Super Retro Racing asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nitro RC holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nitro RC has 56 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Nitro RC's written reviews are positive against 100% of Super Retro Racing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nitro RC ships an update every 4 months, Super Retro Racing every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
