# 標準草書 vs ePen

The clearest difference is rating: 標準草書 at 5.0 against ePen's 4.0. 標準草書 also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and price ($1.99 vs $2.99). ePen's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months) and review sentiment (91% vs 70%). On ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

標準草書 costs $1.99 and ePen $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

標準草書 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of 標準草書's written reviews are positive against 91% of ePen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

標準草書 ships an update every 10 months, ePen fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
