# My Contacts Backup vs iManager App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iManager App at none against My Contacts Backup's 1. iManager App also leads on ads (none vs shown). My Contacts Backup's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (10K vs 37). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Contacts Backup sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. iManager App asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Contacts Backup holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Contacts Backup has 10K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of My Contacts Backup's written reviews are positive against 67% of iManager App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Contacts Backup ships an update every 3 months, iManager App every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
