# Degusta vs Athens Pizza

The clearest difference is rating: Degusta at 4.9 against Athens Pizza's 1.0. Degusta also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Athens Pizza's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Degusta holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Degusta has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Degusta ships an update fortnightly, Athens Pizza every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
