# Classical California vs Polyphonic Interlace

The clearest difference is update cadence: Polyphonic Interlace at every 4 days against Classical California's every 6 weeks. Classical California's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Classical California against 5.0 for Polyphonic Interlace. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classical California has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Classical California ships an update every 6 weeks, Polyphonic Interlace every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
