# Virtual Keypad vs CCMO

The clearest difference is rating: CCMO at 5.0 against Virtual Keypad's 4.3. CCMO also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Virtual Keypad's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CCMO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Keypad has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Virtual Keypad ships an update every 2 weeks, CCMO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
