# MOMO陌陌 vs Gööp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gööp at 100% against MOMO陌陌's 45%. Gööp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). MOMO陌陌's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 13) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MOMO陌陌 sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Gööp asks for nothing beyond the download.

MOMO陌陌 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOMO陌陌 has 13K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of MOMO陌陌's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gööp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MOMO陌陌 ships an update weekly, Gööp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
