# iFox Browser vs RedApp Lite

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RedApp Lite at 77% against iFox Browser's 17%. RedApp Lite also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months). iFox Browser's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iFox Browser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and RedApp Lite sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RedApp Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RedApp Lite has 392 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of iFox Browser's written reviews are positive against 77% of RedApp Lite's.

iFox Browser ships an update every 6 months, RedApp Lite every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
