# Class Schedule vs HabitBoard

The clearest difference is update cadence: HabitBoard at every 10 days against Class Schedule's every 5 months. HabitBoard also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 63%) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). Class Schedule's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Schedule sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and HabitBoard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Class Schedule holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HabitBoard has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Class Schedule's written reviews are positive against 80% of HabitBoard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Class Schedule ships an update every 5 months, HabitBoard every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
