# Open Adoption vs Biblical Dreams

The clearest difference is rating: Open Adoption at 5.0 against Biblical Dreams's 3.5. Open Adoption also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 39 months). Biblical Dreams's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Open Adoption holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Open Adoption's written reviews are positive against 100% of Biblical Dreams's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Open Adoption ships an update every 4 months, Biblical Dreams every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
