# DJ M8 vs HelloSuperStars

The clearest difference is rating: DJ M8 at 4.7 against HelloSuperStars's 3.8. HelloSuperStars's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DJ M8 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. HelloSuperStars asks for nothing beyond the download.

DJ M8 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of DJ M8's written reviews are positive against 88% of HelloSuperStars's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
