# The Flight Computer Teacher vs SkyDemon

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SkyDemon at 92% against The Flight Computer Teacher's 7%. SkyDemon also leads on ratings volume (549 vs 1). The Flight Computer Teacher's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Flight Computer Teacher sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SkyDemon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Flight Computer Teacher holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkyDemon has 549 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of The Flight Computer Teacher's written reviews are positive against 92% of SkyDemon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
