# Wacken Open Air vs Rammstein

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rammstein at 78% against Wacken Open Air's 47%. Rammstein also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 6) and device support (3 vs 1). Wacken Open Air's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wacken Open Air holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rammstein has 62 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Wacken Open Air's written reviews are positive against 78% of Rammstein's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wacken Open Air ships an update every 3 months, Rammstein every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
