# Paragliding Map vs Volandoo Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Volandoo Tracker at 4.7 against Paragliding Map's 4.1. Volandoo Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Paragliding Map's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paragliding Map sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Volandoo Tracker sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Volandoo Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paragliding Map has 50 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Paragliding Map's written reviews are positive against 75% of Volandoo Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paragliding Map ships an update every 2 months, Volandoo Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
