# Splash Mini vs Splash Math

The clearest difference is rating: Splash Math at 5.0 against Splash Mini's 4.5. Splash Mini's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splash Mini sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Splash Math sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splash Math holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splash Mini has 6.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Splash Mini ships an update every 3 weeks, Splash Math every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
