# Splash Mini vs 5th Grade Math

The clearest difference is monetization model: Splash Mini at free with in-app purchases against 5th Grade Math's subscription. Splash Mini also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splash Mini sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and 5th Grade Math sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
