# Action News 5 vs Act Plus

The clearest difference is rating: Act Plus at 5.0 against Action News 5's 4.5. Act Plus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Action News 5's advantage is ratings volume (4.6K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Act Plus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Action News 5 has 4.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
