# JEFIT Workout Plan Gym Tracker vs OpenWorkout

The clearest difference is ads: OpenWorkout at none against JEFIT Workout Plan Gym Tracker's shown. OpenWorkout also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). JEFIT Workout Plan Gym Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (47K vs 1) and chart position (#174 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JEFIT Workout Plan Gym Tracker sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and OpenWorkout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenWorkout holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JEFIT Workout Plan Gym Tracker has 47K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of JEFIT Workout Plan Gym Tracker's written reviews are positive against 50% of OpenWorkout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JEFIT Workout Plan Gym Tracker ships an update every 5 days, OpenWorkout every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
