# Fav Talk vs Hello!

The clearest difference is rating: Hello! at 4.0 against Fav Talk's 3.4. Hello! also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). Fav Talk's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 5) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fav Talk sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Hello! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hello! holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fav Talk has 32 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Fav Talk's written reviews are positive against 75% of Hello!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fav Talk ships an update every 6 months, Hello! every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
