# WTOC 11 News vs GPB

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GPB at 65% against WTOC 11 News's 21%. GPB also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). WTOC 11 News's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 103) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WTOC 11 News holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WTOC 11 News has 2.8K ratings behind it against 103, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of WTOC 11 News's written reviews are positive against 65% of GPB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WTOC 11 News ships an update every 5 weeks, GPB every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
