# 12OnYourSide vs Magzter Library

The clearest difference is rating: 12OnYourSide at 4.5 against Magzter Library's 2.9. 12OnYourSide also leads on ratings volume (6.3K vs 43). Magzter Library's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 13%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

12OnYourSide holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 12OnYourSide has 6.3K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of 12OnYourSide's written reviews are positive against 52% of Magzter Library's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

12OnYourSide ships an update monthly, Magzter Library every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
