# RunPee vs Binky

The clearest difference is monetization model: RunPee at free against Binky's free with in-app purchases. RunPee also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RunPee sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Binky sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RunPee holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 479 and 104 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of RunPee's written reviews are positive against 88% of Binky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RunPee ships an update every 2 months, Binky every 12 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
