# RunPee vs Posterama

The clearest difference is rating: RunPee at 4.7 against Posterama's 3.7. RunPee also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (479 vs 3). Posterama's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RunPee sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Posterama sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RunPee holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RunPee has 479 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of RunPee's written reviews are positive against 100% of Posterama's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RunPee ships an update every 2 months, Posterama every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
