# Singing Machine Karaoke vs 歡歌Live

The clearest difference is rating: Singing Machine Karaoke at 4.6 against 歡歌Live's 4.0. Singing Machine Karaoke also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 65) and chart position (#105 vs unranked). 歡歌Live's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 44%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Singing Machine Karaoke sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and 歡歌Live sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Singing Machine Karaoke holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Singing Machine Karaoke has 3.3K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Singing Machine Karaoke's written reviews are positive against 84% of 歡歌Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Singing Machine Karaoke ships an update every 3 months, 歡歌Live every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
