# Singing Machine Karaoke vs Singa

The clearest difference is ads: Singa at none against Singing Machine Karaoke's shown. Singa also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (57% vs 45%). Singing Machine Karaoke's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and chart position (#87 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Singing Machine Karaoke sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Singa sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Singing Machine Karaoke holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Singing Machine Karaoke has 3.3K ratings behind it against 381, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Singing Machine Karaoke's written reviews are positive against 57% of Singa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Singing Machine Karaoke ships an update every 3 months, Singa every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
