# Counting Board vs Bugs and Numbers

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bugs and Numbers at every 5 months against Counting Board's every 15 months. Bugs and Numbers also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 2) and review sentiment (66% vs 57%). Counting Board's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Counting Board costs $0.99 and Bugs and Numbers $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Counting Board holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bugs and Numbers has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Counting Board's written reviews are positive against 66% of Bugs and Numbers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
