# MobiTask vs Microsoft Power BI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MobiTask at 100% against Microsoft Power BI's 47%. MobiTask also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Microsoft Power BI's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Microsoft Power BI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Power BI has 97K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MobiTask's written reviews are positive against 47% of Microsoft Power BI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MobiTask ships an update every 4 months, Microsoft Power BI fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
