# Prayer Notes vs Pray

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Prayer Notes at 74% against Pray's 20%. Prayer Notes also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prayer Notes sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Pray sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prayer Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. Prayer Notes ships an update every 2 months, Pray monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
