# Prayer Notes vs Daily Prayer Guide

Prayer Notes and Daily Prayer Guide both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of Daily Prayer Guide's written reviews are positive against 74% of Prayer Notes's. Daily Prayer Guide also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Prayer Notes's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 353). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prayer Notes sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Daily Prayer Guide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Prayer Notes against 4.8 for Daily Prayer Guide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prayer Notes has 3.8K ratings behind it against 353, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Prayer Notes's written reviews are positive against 95% of Daily Prayer Guide's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
