# Alarm Clock ◎ vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Alarm Clock ◎ at 3.5K against Digital Clock's 157. Alarm Clock ◎ also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock ◎ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Digital Clock sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alarm Clock ◎ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock ◎ has 3.5K ratings behind it against 157, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Alarm Clock ◎'s written reviews are positive against 65% of Digital Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alarm Clock ◎ ships an update fortnightly, Digital Clock every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
