# Alarm Clock ◎ vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alarm Clock ◎ at fortnightly against Digital Clock's every 2 months. Alarm Clock ◎ also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 384). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock ◎ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Digital Clock sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Alarm Clock ◎ against 4.6 for Digital Clock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock ◎ has 3.5K ratings behind it against 384, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Alarm Clock ◎'s written reviews are positive against 64% of Digital Clock's.

Alarm Clock ◎ ships an update fortnightly, Digital Clock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
