# Alarm Clock ◎ vs Simple_Clock

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Alarm Clock ◎ at 3.5K against Simple_Clock's 147. Alarm Clock ◎ also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Simple_Clock's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock ◎ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Simple_Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple_Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock ◎ has 3.5K ratings behind it against 147, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Alarm Clock ◎'s written reviews are positive against 71% of Simple_Clock's.

Alarm Clock ◎ ships an update fortnightly, Simple_Clock weekly. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
