# Calc Pro vs Calculator

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Calc Pro at 4.7K against Calculator's 206. Calculator's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calc Pro sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Calculator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Calc Pro against 4.6 for Calculator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calc Pro has 4.7K ratings behind it against 206, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 70% and 70% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
