# Forecast Now vs Global

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forecast Now at every 3 weeks against Global's every 3 months. Forecast Now also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 51). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forecast Now sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Global sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Forecast Now against 4.4 for Global. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forecast Now has 1.5K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of Forecast Now's written reviews are positive against 59% of Global's.

Forecast Now ships an update every 3 weeks, Global every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
