# YB Races vs GeoRacing

The clearest difference is rating: YB Races at 2.9 against GeoRacing's 1.6. YB Races also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (74 vs 7). GeoRacing's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (27% vs 19%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YB Races sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. GeoRacing asks for nothing beyond the download.

YB Races holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YB Races has 74 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of YB Races's written reviews are positive against 27% of GeoRacing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YB Races ships an update every 2 months, GeoRacing every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
