# OpenDrive vs Amaryllo Cloud

The clearest difference is rating: OpenDrive at 4.7 against Amaryllo Cloud's 3.8. OpenDrive also leads on ratings volume (43 vs 8). Amaryllo Cloud's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 15%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenDrive sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Amaryllo Cloud sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenDrive holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpenDrive has 43 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of OpenDrive's written reviews are positive against 43% of Amaryllo Cloud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OpenDrive ships an update every 2 months, Amaryllo Cloud every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
