# OpenDrive vs In

The clearest difference is review sentiment: In at 100% against OpenDrive's 15%. In also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). OpenDrive's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenDrive sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and In sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

In holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpenDrive has 43 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of OpenDrive's written reviews are positive against 100% of In's.

OpenDrive ships an update every 2 months, In every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
