# Penzu vs OnlinePrayerJournal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OnlinePrayerJournal at none against Penzu's 3. OnlinePrayerJournal also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Penzu's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Penzu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. OnlinePrayerJournal asks for nothing beyond the download.

Penzu holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Penzu has 2.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
