# ATC Mania vs Tower Control Manager

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ATC Mania at 87% against Tower Control Manager's 25%. ATC Mania also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Tower Control Manager's advantage is ratings volume (7.5K vs 30) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ATC Mania sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tower Control Manager sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tower Control Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tower Control Manager has 7.5K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of ATC Mania's written reviews are positive against 25% of Tower Control Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ATC Mania ships an update every 3 weeks, Tower Control Manager every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
