# BIMx vs OneScreen Hype

The clearest difference is rating: BIMx at 4.0 against OneScreen Hype's 2.8. BIMx also leads on ratings volume (167 vs 9). OneScreen Hype's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BIMx holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BIMx has 167 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of BIMx's written reviews are positive against 100% of OneScreen Hype's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BIMx ships an update every 5 weeks, OneScreen Hype every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
