# MFL Platinum vs FFPC

The clearest difference is rating: FFPC at 4.7 against MFL Platinum's 3.2. FFPC also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). MFL Platinum's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 24%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MFL Platinum sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. FFPC asks for nothing beyond the download.

FFPC holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FFPC has 2.2K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of MFL Platinum's written reviews are positive against 24% of FFPC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MFL Platinum ships an update fortnightly, FFPC weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
