# Streetspotr vs ISC

Streetspotr and ISC both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Streetspotr's written reviews are positive against 36% of ISC's. Streetspotr also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (266 vs 30). ISC's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Streetspotr against 4.5 for ISC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Streetspotr has 266 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Streetspotr's written reviews are positive against 36% of ISC's.

Streetspotr ships an update every 3 weeks, ISC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
