# Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear vs Donut Games

The clearest difference is ads: Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear at none against Donut Games's shown. Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Donut Games's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1K) and review sentiment (90% vs 80%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Donut Games sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Donut Games has 11K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear's written reviews are positive against 90% of Donut Games's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear ships an update weekly, Donut Games every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
