# Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear vs Donut Maker Deluxe

The clearest difference is rating: Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear at 4.8 against Donut Maker Deluxe's 4.0. Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Donut Maker Deluxe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear has 1K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear's written reviews are positive against 87% of Donut Maker Deluxe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Marshmallow Maker by Bluebear ships an update weekly, Donut Maker Deluxe every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
