# Il Messaggero Mobile vs RomaToday

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Il Messaggero Mobile at 50% against RomaToday's 0%. Il Messaggero Mobile also leads on ads (none vs shown). RomaToday's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Il Messaggero Mobile sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and RomaToday sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RomaToday holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Il Messaggero Mobile's written reviews are positive against 0% of RomaToday's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Il Messaggero Mobile ships an update every 5 months, RomaToday every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
