# Piazza vs Macmillan Learning eBook

The clearest difference is rating: Macmillan Learning eBook at 4.3 against Piazza's 2.1. Macmillan Learning eBook also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 279). Piazza's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Macmillan Learning eBook holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Macmillan Learning eBook has 2.2K ratings behind it against 279, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Piazza's written reviews are positive against 11% of Macmillan Learning eBook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Piazza ships an update every 11 days, Macmillan Learning eBook every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
