# Meb vs WebComics

Meb and WebComics both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of Meb's written reviews are positive against 45% of WebComics's. Meb also leads on ads (none vs shown). WebComics's advantage is ratings volume (67K vs 1.4K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meb sells 21 one-off in-app purchases and WebComics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Meb against 4.8 for WebComics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebComics has 67K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Meb's written reviews are positive against 45% of WebComics's.

Meb ships an update every 3 weeks, WebComics every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
