# Word Colors Lite vs Puzzly Words

The clearest difference is rating: Puzzly Words at 4.7 against Word Colors Lite's 4.1. Puzzly Words also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 7) and chart position (#146 vs unranked). Word Colors Lite's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Colors Lite sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Puzzly Words sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Puzzly Words holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Puzzly Words has 4.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
