# 東森新聞 vs 民視新聞

The clearest difference is rating: 東森新聞 at 4.4 against 民視新聞's 2.8. 東森新聞 also leads on ratings volume (474 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

東森新聞 holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 東森新聞 has 474 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of 東森新聞's written reviews are positive against 33% of 民視新聞's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
