# 咕咚 vs Sigma

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sigma at none against 咕咚's 10. Sigma also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (87% vs 76%). 咕咚's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 56) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 咕咚 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Sigma asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for 咕咚 against 4.5 for Sigma. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 咕咚 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of 咕咚's written reviews are positive against 87% of Sigma's.

咕咚 ships an update every 10 days, Sigma weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
